News in _ The Callisto protocol has been scarce lately with the game director, Glen Schofield, recently saying that the ads will arrive soon, but this week, in reality, we obtained more than a simple promise of what is to come. Schofield shared a conceptual art for the game that shows a particularly twisted creature located in an even more disturbing location. In addition to that revelation, Schofield again made fun of those who were looking forward to _The Callisto protocol once again that it is “almost time to show you the real.”

That conceptual art can be seen below, courtesy of the Schofield Twitter account. It was not specified what that creature was or how it would fit in the game, but taking into account what we already know about the new horror game and how Schofield was one of the co-creators of the Dead Space games, it is not difficult. Imagine that this is something that players will not want to find off guard in _ the Callisto_ protocol.

Since this provocation promised more to come, people, naturally, had many questions about the new game. Schofield approached those consultations widely in another tweet shared on Saturday that recognized the desire to obtain more information, but said it was not his place to share at this time. Those interested should wait for official announcements, said Schofield, who will “arrive soon,” according to Striking Funder Studios.

“I want to thank everyone who is interested in getting more information about @callistothegame,” Schofield said. «As a developer, I want to tell you everything! But you know how it works, I have to wait for official ads. I assure you that they will arrive soon. With a lot of things! Making a fear game is not easy ».

Schofield responded to a user who asked if the game would launch this year saying that he will have an “answer soon”, so we can at least expect to obtain information about a launch window in the near future.

It remains to be seen when those ads will be shared, but we are supposed to listen more about the game during one of the great events that will take place during the summer. Striking Distence Studios is owned by Krafton, the same group that has pubg: battlefields and much more, so anyone can guess with what important game event these revelations can be aligned. Interestingly, this game itself is also set in the pubg universe, although we are still waiting to learn more about that too.

_ The Callisto_ protocol currently does not have a release date.
